On 23 August 2025, a celebration marking the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the 53rd anniversary of Australia-China diplomatic relations, and the 13th anniversary of the founding of the Australia-China Commerce and Industry Alliance (ACCIA) was held in Melbourne.

The event was jointly hosted by the Vietnam-Cambodia-Laos Chinese Community Associations Federation of Australia and ACCIA, with the Jinhua Chinese Friendship Association as co-organiser. Guests attending the event included:

Chairman Su Xinfeng said: "Tonight we gather together to celebrate the 76th National Day of the People's Republic of China and the 53rd anniversary of Australia-China diplomatic relations, while also marking the 5th edition of ACCIA's Anniversary Celebration. On behalf of ACCIA, I extend a warm welcome and sincere thanks to everyone here today. Over the past 76 years, China's development has drawn the world's attention, benefiting more than a billion people and creating opportunities for countries around the world, including Australia. Over the past 53 years, the Australia-China relationship has weathered its share of ups and downs, yet cooperation has borne rich fruit, with exchanges in trade, education, science and technology, and culture deepening continuously, and the friendship between our two peoples growing ever stronger. Since its founding in 2012, ACCIA has been committed to serving as a bridge, promoting economic, trade and cultural exchange between the two countries. Over the past five editions of this celebration, we have worked together with the governments, business communities and communities of both countries to hold many exchange activities, helping enterprises to 'go global and bring others in,' and promoting mutual learning between diverse cultures. Friends, today we are not only celebrating history, but also looking to the future. As the global economic landscape changes, there will be even greater scope for cooperation between Australia and China. We will continue to work to make our cooperation more practical, our exchanges deeper, and our friendship longer-lasting. Finally, let us wish together: may the great People's Republic of China prosper! May Australia-China relations advance steadily and far! May the Australia-China Commerce and Industry Alliance achieve new glories!" The venue broke into warm applause.

During the ceremony, a cake-cutting brought the atmosphere to its peak. The cake was not only a symbol of the 76th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 53rd anniversary of Australia-China friendship, but also embodied the achievements of the Australia-China Commerce and Industry Alliance over its 13 years in promoting bilateral trade cooperation, advancing cultural exchange and serving the Chinese community. Guests gathered on stage to cut the anniversary cake together as a symbol of unity and cooperation. The first cut traced a circle representing economic and trade ties, the second drew a rainbow bridge representing cultural exchange, and the third marked the Alliance's role in leading Australia-China cooperation toward an even brighter future.

Tonight's celebration conveyed deep patriotic sentiment and genuine friendship through art, reflecting the spirit of overseas Chinese who remain devoted to their homeland while embracing Australian society. The performance was not only an artistic feast, but also an occasion for cultural exchange and shared emotion. The blending of different cultural elements symbolised both the continuation of Chinese culture and its coexistence with Australia's multiculturalism, vividly illustrating the friendship and shared vision of the Australian and Chinese peoples as they support one another and move forward together. The successful holding of this event demonstrated the cohesion of the Australian Chinese community and highlighted the important role of the Australia-China Commerce and Industry Alliance in serving Chinese businesses, promoting exchange and fostering cooperation. May the motherland prosper, and may Australia-China friendship last forever. Following the successful celebration, on 24 August Chairman Su Xinfeng led a visit to Chairman Jiang's winery in Melbourne, where the delegation received Chairman Jiang's warm hospitality. The two-day visit to Melbourne was met with warm hospitality throughout and strengthened engagement with Melbourne community groups on multiple fronts, building platforms for further exchange and cooperation.
