On the evening of 8 August 2026, ACCIA held its 14th anniversary celebration at the Shunde Flavour Restaurant in Sydney. Representatives from the Australian and Chinese business communities, the overseas Chinese community and wider society attended to mark fourteen years since the Alliance's founding.

ACCIA was founded in 2012. Over the past fourteen years, the Alliance has worked consistently on enterprise exchange, resource matching and member services, helping the business communities of Australia and China build connections and expand cooperation, and promoting trade and people-to-people exchange through a wide range of activities.
The evening opened with a screening of ACCIA's promotional film, which traced the key milestones since the Alliance's founding through footage of past activities and its record of achievement, showing how the Alliance and its member enterprises have grown through exchange and cooperation.
ACCIA Chairman Mr Su Xinfeng then delivered the opening address.

He reviewed the Alliance's development over the past fourteen years and thanked all members, along with those across the community who have long cared for and supported the Alliance's growth. He said the 14th anniversary was an important moment for taking stock of the past and planning the next stage of development. Going forward, the Alliance will continue to strengthen member services and resource connections, broaden channels of exchange between the Australian and Chinese business communities, and drive more practical cooperation.
Remarks followed from Mr Diao Zhenmou, ACCIA Honorary Chairman and Chairman of the Sydney Tin Hau Temple; Mr Geoffrey Lee, former Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education; Mr Shaoquett Moselmane, former Assistant President of the New South Wales Legislative Council; Ms Lin Lihua, Permanent Honorary Mayor of Auburn, Sydney; Mr Tian Fei, President of the Australia-China People's Friendship and Exchange Association; and Venerable Prajna, President of the Buddhist Federation of Australia. Each extended congratulations on the Alliance's 14th anniversary and acknowledged its long-standing efforts to bring the business community together and promote exchange and cooperation.

A new member certificate presentation was held during the celebration, with ACCIA Chairman Su Xinfeng presenting a certificate to Vice Chairman Wu Aimin.

ACCIA Executive President Mr Zheng Maoqiang then presented certificates to new members. The arrival of new members brings fresh energy to the Alliance and reflects its steady progress in continuing to bring together the strength of the Australian and Chinese business communities and expand its membership network.
At the anniversary cake-cutting ceremony, Alliance leaders and guest representatives took the stage together to cut the 14th anniversary cake before all those present. Leaders, guests and members then gathered for a group photograph, capturing this memorable moment.


In the performance segment, ACCIA Arts Director Huang Mei, "Blessed Land, Blessed Waters, Blessed World" Executive Director Gu Lanlan, He Anna and other guests took the stage in turn, performing "A Carnation for You", "Beautiful Mood" and "Velvet Flower". The varied programme enriched the celebration and brought a relaxed, warm atmosphere to the exchanges on the night.

Guests engaged enthusiastically throughout the performances, with applause breaking out repeatedly. The interweaving of performance and business exchange gave the celebration a friendly, lively feel alongside its more formal moments.
As the evening drew to a close, ACCIA Executive President Mr Zheng Maoqiang delivered the vote of thanks.

He expressed heartfelt thanks to all the guests and members who attended, and to the partners across the community who provided prizes, sponsorship and support of every kind.
The 14th anniversary marks an important point in ACCIA's development. Looking ahead, the Alliance will continue to focus on member services, resource matching and enterprise cooperation, refining its mechanisms for exchange, broadening channels of communication between the Australian and Chinese business communities, and creating more opportunities for members to cooperate and grow.
